Andre Agassi 1987: Made Semi-Final appearances at Statton Mountain and Basel. Won his first Tour title as a wildcard entry at Itaparica, the last Tour stop of the year.

1988: Won 6 titles in seven finals. Made it to the semis at both the French and US Opens. Reached the Quarter-Finals or better 13 of 16 times.

1989: Won his only title of the year in Orlando and reached the finals in Rome. Defeated Jimmy Connors in the QF of the US Open in his first career 5-set win. Became the quickest to surpass $1 million in career prize money.

1990: Got to his first Grand Slam final at the French open, and also reached the finals of the US Open, upsetting Boris Becker in the SF. Won the ATP Tour World Championship in Frankfurt, defeating Edberg in the final. Won 3 other titles at San Francisco, Key Biscayne, and Washington.

1991: Won titles at Orlando and Washington. Made it to the finals of the French Open again. Reached the QF of Wimbledon and the SF of the ATP Tour World Championship.

1992: Won his first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, beating Becker and McEnroe along the way, and Ivanisevic in the finals. Also won titles at Toronto at Atlanta. Reached the semis at the French Open and the quarters at the US Open.

1993: Played only 13 events because of a wrist injury. Fell out of the top 10 for the first time since 1987 and finished the year ranked 24th.

1994: Won five titles, including the US Open, and Super 9 events in Toronto and Paris. Became the first player to move from below #30 to #2 in the same year. Became the first unseeded champion at the US Open since 1966. Defeated every Top 10 player during the year.

1995: Won a career-high seven titles in 11 finals and had a career-high 73-9 match record. Became the 12th player in the history of the ATP computer rankings to be ranked #1 on April 10. Held the #1 ranking for 30 weeks (until Nov 5). Advanced to the QF in 15 of the 16 tournaments he competed in. Only player to advance to the QF or better in all 4 Grand Slams. Won the Australian Open, Key Biscayne, and Montreal. Reached the SF of Wimbledon and lost to rival Pete Sampras in the US Open finals. Ended the year ranked #2.
